G22 Successfully Holds First-Ever Solo Concert with The Eve of an Alpha

The Eve of an Alpha: The First Concert put G22’s power and passion on full display as the Filipino girl group trio took over the New Frontier Theater on July 12, 2026.

The show marked G22’s first-ever solo concert in the Philippines, four years after their debut in 2022. Composed of members AJ, Alfea, and Jaz, G22 is managed by Cornerstone Entertainment.

G22 kicked off the night with high-energy performances of “Pa-Pa-Pa-Palaban” and “Boomerang.” “Bullets! Welcome to The Eve of an Alpha!” the trio greeted their fans.

The group’s energy remained unwavering throughout the night as they performed fan favorites, including “Lakumpake,” “Loka,” “Super Saiyan,” “Groove On,” “Filipina Queen,” and “Bang.”

Among the highlights of the concert were the members’ solo stages, which showcased their individual artistry. AJ brought Gloc-9 and Rico Blanco’s “Magda” to life with her compelling storytelling, Jaz impressed the crowd with her powerful rendition of RAYE’s “Where’s My Husband?,” while Alfea showcased her vocal and dance prowess through Tate McRae’s “Sports Car.”

G22 also paid tribute to the iconic women who inspired them to become the artists they are today through a special medley. The trio likewise performed their Myra E theme song.

The trio also showcased their softer side with heartfelt performances of “One Sided Love,” “Until When,” “Babalik,” “KIAK (Kung Ikaw at Ako),” “First,” and “Musika.”

When asked about the inspiration behind their solo stages, Jaz shared that she simply wanted to do something fun. “I really love to sing. That’s my strength,” she said.

Alfea, meanwhile, wanted to take her previous performance at Eton Centris to the next level. “I wanna do something like that, but on another level,” she shared, a vision that was reflected in her solo stage.

AJ, on the other hand, said she has always loved storytelling. “I feel like I’m a storyteller. I really wanted something theatrical,” she said.

G22’s hard work and perseverance shone just as brightly as their talent throughout the concert. The Eve of an Alpha was more than a milestone, it marked the beginning of a new chapter for the trio.
