BamBam, TEN, Ethan Bortnick, and Young Miko Join Presenter Lineup for 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards
Crunchyroll has announced another set of celebrity presenters for the 10th annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards, happening on May 23, 2026, in Tokyo.
The newly revealed lineup includes Thai K-pop artist BamBam, contemporary musician Ethan Bortnick, Thai singer and dancer TEN, and Grammy-nominated Puerto Rican artist Young Miko. They join an already packed list of anime-fan presenters that includes Asuka Saito, RZA, Rashmika Mandanna, The Weeknd, Winston Duke, and more.
BamBam, best known as a member of GOT7, has continued to grow his solo career since 2021. Beyond his work as a rapper, he has shown more sides of his artistry through solo music that highlights his bright vocals and playful stage presence.
TEN, a member of NCT and WayV, has also built a strong name as a solo artist. He made his solo debut in 2024 with “Nightwalker” and followed it with his 2025 EP Stunner, which topped iTunes Albums charts in 19 countries. The title track was also named by Billboard as one of the year’s best K-pop songs.
Ethan Bortnick brings a different sound to the presenter lineup. The contemporary musician, pianist, and songwriter is known for blending classical influences with modern pop. His songs “cut my fingers off” and “engravings” have gained more than 135 million streams on Spotify.
Young Miko, one of Puerto Rico’s rising global music acts, will also take part in the ceremony. The Grammy-nominated artist has built a strong international following with more than 20 million monthly Spotify listeners and over 21 million followers across social media.
The 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards will be hosted by Jon Kabira and Sally Amaki. The Orange Carpet Pre-Show begins at 5:00 PM JST or 4:00 PM PHT, followed by the main ceremony at 6:00 PM JST or 5:00 PM PHT.
Fans around the world can watch the livestream through Crunchyroll’s Twitch, TikTok, and YouTube channels, along with the Global and Japanese Sony Group Corp YouTube channels. The ceremony will be available in nine languages, including English, Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Italian, and Latin Spanish.
The Crunchyroll Anime Awards honors the creators, musicians, voice actors, and performances that continue to shape anime’s global reach. Sony Music Solutions Inc. and Dempsey Productions will support Crunchyroll in producing this year’s event.
