Comfort food seems to be the best to eat especially at times when we can’t leave the house. We appeared to solve the problem when we got some great British-inspired comfy food from TAKEAWAY MNL! We truly got as they; “we got our money worth it”!

TAKEAWAY MNL owner, Joseph Turla, is a chef in the United Kingdom. He explained that in the United Kingdom, the British would often use the term “Takeaway” instead of “Takeout” hence the name. They started TAKEAWAY MNL last June. In their words, ” we thought it seemed a crazy idea to start a business in the middle of a pandemic, but we were proved wrong”.

TAKEAWAY MNL delivers within Metro Manila and Cavite as well. Their food was such a hit in the first month that they sold almost 100 Chicken Wraps! The Chicken Wraps would be their bestseller. Furthermore, all of their ingredients are purely homemade, from tortillas used for wrap to the sauces of the boneless chicken

Nachos (PHP149): Nacho chops topped with chili con Carne and mozzarella/cheddar cheese served with fresh salsa. To our surprise for PHP 149, it was a lot of nachos that actually filled out stomach up! The sauce was just a bonus! Rate: 9/10

Boneless Chicken (PHP149): This comes in three different flavors.

Flavors:

• Original With Chili Mayo: The original is something that you should try to get you started on the boneless chicken. Rate: 10/10
• Honey Sriracha: A bit spicy but we loved the kick! Rate: 10/10
• Teriyaki: It taste like the chicken teriyaki but mix it with the sauce, you won’t get enough of it! Rate: 9/10

Tropical Chicken Wrap (PHP119)

Crispy chicken wrapped with lettuce, tomatoes, white onions, sweet mangoes, and cheese in a fresh pita. This definitely is a game-changer! The mango in the chicken wrap is what blew us away! Rate: 10/10
