Passport Release

For a smoother experience, consider visiting the KVAC in the afternoon for passport release. Mornings tend to be busier, so arriving later in the day can save you some valuable time.

Alternative Application Methods

In addition to in-person applications, the KVAC also accepts visa applications through its 35 designated travel agencies. However, it’s important to note that visa applications for diplomatic passport holders, official passport holders, and those with urgent humanitarian reasons requiring a visa within one to two days will still be processed at the South Korean embassy.

Efficient Service

The KVAC is well-equipped to handle the influx of applicants efficiently. With a total of 20 reception counters, four release counters, and four payment counters, they are committed to reducing waiting times. You’ll also find computers, photocopiers, and writing desks available for your convenience.

No Daily Application Limits

Unlike some visa processing centers that restrict the number of applications they accept each day, the KVAC has no such limits. However, keep in mind that during the initial weeks or months following the center’s opening, there may be long lines. Some dedicated applicants even arrive as early as 5 a.m. to secure their spot in line.

Parking Convenience

Parking is available at the KVAC building, making it easy for applicants to access the center. Alternatively, you can park at SM Aura, which is just a short three-minute walk away from the KVAC.
