Legendary Guitar Slash Returns to Manila with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators This March 2024

When your work has defined a whole generation of hard rock and metal musicians and continues to move and inspire a generation of musicians and songwriters, and when the biggest names in many genres want to work with you and share the stag, there’s not much to say.

Slash is indeed the only one. His image is as instantly recognizable as his guitar prowess and capacity to produce some of the most memorable moments of the 20th and 21st centuries—his signature top hat and Gibson Les Paul included. Fans of serious rock, mainly Filipino rock, who have revered and admired his work will be astounded to learn that Peace Integrated Marketing, Sin Ye Long, and Jasper Production are coordinating the return of Slash and Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators to Manila.

In collaboration with Dragon Art Entertainment, The Rock Promotions, and Peace Integrated Marketing, PULP LIVE WORLD will produce the performance. Notably, PULPLIVE WORLD was the first to acquire Slash in May 2013.

Ticket prices for the The River Is Rising Tour 2024 ranges from 3,500 to 8,250. The performance will be held at the SkyDome , SM City North Edsa on March 12, 2024. David Hudson Slash, better known by his birth name Saul Hudson, was an original member of the legendary hard rock band Guns N’ Roses in the late 1980s. His notable collaborators and touring partners include Lenny Kravitz, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Rihanna, Carole King, Bob Dylan, and Paul Rodgers. In 2002, Slash formed Velvet Revolver, a band that featured former Stone Temple Pilots members Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum, and the late, great Scott Weiland. This follow-up to the critically acclaimed Slash’s Snakepit was formed in 2002 and achieved worldwide acclaim.

In 2009, Slash ultimately released his self-titled solo debut, accompanied by an all-star cast of prominent music figures: Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead, Ozzy Osbourne, and Adam Levine of Maroon 5. Although it was his music, he was not alone; in fact, he was in good company, as his association with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, with whom he has released four critically acclaimed full-length albums (Apocalyptic Love (2012), World on Fire (2014), Living The Dream (2018), and the titled 4) over the years, developed into an excellent working relationship.

Unsurprisingly, upon the initial announcement of Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators’ return to Manila via social media, an online pandemonium ensued among Filipino music enthusiasts almost immediately. Since reuniting with Guns N’ Roses and performing in venues around the globe over the past few years, Slash has reclaimed his position as one of the all-time most significant and most influential guitarists.
