Korean Drama Queen of Tears releases individual posters of Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun

tvN’s upcoming series “Queen of Tears” has revealed character posters featuring its leading duo!

Scripted by Park Ji Eun, renowned for her work on popular dramas like “Crash Landing on You,” “My Love From the Star,” and “Producer,” “Queen of Tears” promises an extraordinary narrative of love, resilience, and humor amidst adversity, chronicling the journey of a married couple navigating through life’s trials.

Kim Ji Won takes on the role of Hong Hae In, the heiress of the Queens Group’s retail empire, known as the “queen” of the department stores. In her character poster, Hong Hae In exudes confidence, making a bold vow to Baek Hyun Woo (played by Kim Soo Hyun), promising, “Just have faith in me. I’ll ensure your eyes remain tear-free.”

Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun portrays Baek Hyun Woo, the legal luminary of the Queens Group conglomerate, who transitions from a humble “supermarket prince” to the son-in-law of South Korea’s top chaebol family.

However, despite his newfound stature, Baek Hyun Woo appears to harbor regrets about trusting Hong Hae In in the past. His poster’s caption reflects his inner turmoil, lamenting, “[She told me] to trust her? I must be insane for believing those words.”

The posters also allude to the power dynamics within the relationship, with Hong Hae In depicted as the “Queen” and Baek Hyun Woo as the “Queen’s man.”
