Cebu Pacific Launches Manila to Da Nang Vietnam Direct Flights
The leading airline in the Philippines, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), inaugurated its inaugural flight from Manila to Da Nang on December 7, 2023. This new route provides travelers with a more expedient and cost-effective way of reaching central Vietnam’s most populous city.
There will be three weekly flights between Manila and Da Nang on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, operated by CEB. At 7:25 PM (PH time), the flight will depart Manila and arrive at Da Nang at 9:30 PM (Vietnam time). The scheduled time of the return flight from Da Nang to Manila is 2:25 AM (PH time), which is 10:30 PM (Vietnam time).
Cebu Pacific operates in Da Nang, Vietnam, as the third destination, thus becoming the preeminent Philippine airline to service one of Asia’s most visited tourist destinations. Additionally, Ho Chi Minh City, the economic hub of Vietnam, and Hanoi, the capital, are serviceable by CEB via air.
Passengers departing from Manila were previously required to reserve a connecting flight from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, or a neighboring country to Da Nang and endure a minimum travel time of ten (10) hours. Passengers do not have to pay an additional fare or wait at an alternative airport during their layover on CEB’s new nonstop flight. By selecting this airline over other options, they can save at least seven (7) hours in travel time and arrive in Da Nang within three (3) hours.
According to Xander Lao, president and chief commercial officer of Cebu Pacific, from facilitating the transportation of Filipino laborers to Dubai to infusing vitality and affection on the island of Siargao, Cebu Pacific’s inaugural flights have propelled the tourism industry forward in numerous regions and enabled individuals to explore previously inaccessible locales. Today, Cebu Pacific once again makes history by reducing the cost and increasing the accessibility of travel to Da Nang, Vietnam, for every Juan.
Da Nang has garnered significant tourist attention due to its opulent resorts, exquisite culinary offerings, and magnificent architectural structures. Additionally, it provides access to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the ancient town of Hoi An, the Hue Imperial Citadel, and the My Son Sanctuary.
CEB operates flights to twenty-five international and thirty-five domestic destinations throughout Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
