McDonald’s Kindness Kitchen supplied approximately 2,000 BTS Meals to designated hospitals and immunization stations two days before the country’s official debut on June 18.

“Throughout the pandemic, our medical frontline workers have been working nonstop to keep everyone safe. We want them to be the first to enjoy the BTS Meal with the debut of the BTS Meal and the overwhelming support McDonald’s is receiving from the public,” said McDonald’s Philippines President & CEO Kenneth S. Yang.

Filled with excitement upon receiving the treat, a beneficiary from Air Force General Hospital shared how McDonald’s, through RMHC has always been supportive of them, especially throughout the pandemic. “Tuwang-tuwa po kami kasi hindi po nakakalimot ang McDo [Kindness Kitchen]. Ever since last year until this year, walang sawa sila sa pag consider sa amin [sa meal distribution]. Very privileged kami nauna sa BTS meal.”

This McDonald’s delight will be available to the general public on Friday, June 18 in all shops nationwide, and will include 10-piece Chicken McNuggets®, medium World Famous Fries®, medium Coca-Cola, and Sweet Chili and Cajun sauces inspired by famous recipes from McDonald’s South Korea.

“We hope that this small gesture will provide some inspiration and cheer to our medical frontline workers, reminding them that we [McDonald’s] are here to support them as they continue to combat COVID-19 every day, protecting and keeping us safe,” Yang added.
