AKMU, EVERGLOW and MOMOLAND To Perform In Manila At Ripples For Hope 2022: A K-Pop Friendship Day & Night
AKMU, EVERGLOW, and MOMOLAND will perform this November 26 at the MOA Arena
A K-pop Friendship Day & Night: Ripples For Hope 2022 will take place in the Philippines. Three K-pop groups, will perform and close the inaugural Hallyu-led event. The Ripple Society, a nonprofit organization focused on youth, announced on November 11.
19 K-pop fan clubs, including those supporting ATEEZ, Stray Kids, and Girls’ Generation, will compete in six games during the first half of the day for the title of first Ripple Champion. Three K-pop groups are scheduled to perform after this event. In the coming weeks, additional event details will be disclosed.
This event is a collaboration between the live event organizer Happee Hour, the concert producer Pulp Live World, and The Ripple Society.
Tickets for Ripples For Hope 2022: A K-pop Friendship Day & Night will go on sale this Saturday, November 19, at noon via SM Tickets.
AKMU
The duo Chanhyuk and Suhyun comprise Akdong Musician , AKMU. On April 7, 2014, they debuted with the album PLAY under YG Entertainment.
EVERGLOW
Yuehua Entertainment manages the Everglow girl group. Six members comprise the group: Sihyeon, E: U, Mia, Onda, Aisha, and Yiren. They made their debut on March 18, 2019, with the single “Bon Bon Chocolat” and the album “Arrival of Everglow.”
However, Yuehua considers March 21, 2019, the date of their debut and anniversary. Their name has two meanings: “For EVERGLOW” (existing for EVERGLOW) and becoming one with EVERGLOW and remaining together eternally.
MOMOLAND
MOMOLAND currently has six members: Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy. The group debuted under MLD Entertainment on November 10, 2016. It was announced on November 29, 2019, that Yeonwoo and Taeha had left the group.
Other K-pop Groups that will soon perform in Manila are Epik High, ENHYPEN, SUPER JUNIOR, STRAY KIDS, MAMAMOO AND EVERGLOW.
