Filipino Fans Get One Step Closer to Seo In Guk at BENCH Fan Meeting

Global BENCHSetter Seo In Guk, charmed Filipino Heartriders during his One Step Closer with Seo In Guk fan meeting on August 22, 2026, at the Main Atrium of SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

Seo In Guk is widely known for his memorable roles in Korean dramas such as Reply 1997 (2012), Doom at Your Service (2021), Death’s Game (2023–2024), and See You at Work Tomorrow (2026), among others. Beyond acting, he has also established himself as a talented singer, further endearing him to Filipino fans.

Prior to the fan meeting proper, the host hyped up the crowd through fun games, entertaining activities, and short interviews, setting the mood for an exciting afternoon with Seo In Guk.

Seo In Guk once again met his Filipino fans and welcomed them with a performance of his song “My Love.” He then warmly greeted the crowd, who responded with an equally enthusiastic welcome. BENCH announced Seo In Guk as its newest Global BENCHSetter on March 7.

“I feel like it’s been so long since I’ve been here… I’m really grateful to BENCH for bringing me here,” he said. “I’m very, very happy to be here,” he added.

During the fan meeting, Seo In Guk took part in a series of questions, including one about his preferences when it comes to fashion. When asked whether he prefers a casual or semi-formal style, he said, “I really like casual style. This style that I’m wearing today is actually the style that I prefer.”

He added that he would opt for a semi-formal look when attending important events or meetings. He also shared that with BENCH, it is easy to find pieces that suit both casual and semi-formal styles.

He also shared that he finds people who communicate well particularly charming when asked what type of person he personally finds attractive. Meanwhile, when asked to describe his ideal date setting, Seo In Guk said he prefers something peaceful and calm.

Fun and Games with Seo In Guk

The fan meeting became even more exciting as Seo In Guk played various games with fans on stage. One highlight was the tongue twister challenge, where he then took on the “Sinangag, Sinigang, Sisig, Seo In Guk!” line and absolutely nailed it.

The fun continued with a “Seo In Guk, saranghae” challenge, where fans competed to see who could say the phrase the longest. The lucky winner was rewarded with a 10-second eye-contact moment with the actor himself.

BENCH’s 39th Anniversary

As BENCH celebrated its 39th anniversary as the Philippines’ No. 1 lifestyle brand, Seo In Guk joined the celebration by singing “Happy Birthday” to the brand, adding a special touch to the milestone occasion.

Heartriders, who showed their love for Seo In Guk wholeheartedly, also prepared a special surprise for their favorite through a heartfelt video message. After watching the tribute, Seo In Guk was visibly touched.

“I’m so touched,” he said. “I’m very grateful that you’re here with me today to make all these beautiful memories,” he added.

“It’s because you guys exist that I’m also able to be here, and it’s also because of you guys that I’m able to do this with BENCH,” Seo In Guk said as he expressed his gratitude to his fans.

He also teased fans that he has been working on something and hinted that he will be making more music in the future.

The fan meeting concluded on a high note as Seo In Guk performed the fan-favorite “All For You.” He even went down from the stage and got closer to the fans, giving Heartriders a memorable final moment with the singer and actor.
