Stray Kids ‘ATE’ debuts at #1 on Billboard 200!
Stray Kids has just made music history with the release of their latest mini album, ATE. On July 28, Billboard announced that the album has debuted at No. 1 on the Top 200 Albums chart, marking an unprecedented achievement for the group. With this latest triumph, Stray Kids has now secured their fifth consecutive No. 1 album, following the success of ODDINARY, MAXIDENT, ★★★★★ (5-STAR), and ROCK-STAR.
In a chart-topping streak that’s nothing short of legendary, Stray Kids has become the first group ever to see their initial five albums debut at the pinnacle of the Billboard 200. They join an elite list of artists who have achieved this feat, with only American rapper DMX accomplishing a similar record more than 20 years ago.
The numbers speak volumes: ATE racked up a staggering 232,000 equivalent album units in its first week, as reported by Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music). This includes 218,000 traditional album sales, making it the second-best sales week of any album in 2024, just behind Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department. The album also amassed 13,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, translating to an impressive 19.05 million on-demand audio streams. Plus, it garnered 1,000 track equivalent album (TEA) units, showcasing its broad appeal across various formats.
Congrats Stray Kids!
