The Corrs Returns to Manila for a Valentine’s Concert to Remember
The Corrs made a highly anticipated return to Manila with a special Valentine’s concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Fans gathered for a night filled with nostalgia and timeless hits, celebrating love through the music of the iconic Irish band. Their last performance in the Philippines was in 2023, where they promised to return soon and they delivered.

As the lights dimmed, the crowd erupted into cheers, eager to see the band take the stage. They opened with Only When I Sleep, instantly setting the mood for the evening. Known for their signature fusion of pop, rock, and traditional Irish folk music, The Corrs proved they hadn’t lost their touch.
The band siblings Andrea (vocals, violin), Sharon (backing vocals, cello), Caroline (drums), and Jim (guitar) quickly connected with the audience. Andrea, in particular, stood out with her engaging presence, drawing cheers with every note and interaction.

The setlist was a mix of fan favorites, taking the audience through the band’s rich discography. Songs like Runaway and Radio had fans singing along, while Andrea’s warm “Magandang gabi” (Good evening) and “Salamat” (Thank you) added a personal touch.
As they performed classics like I Never Loved You Anyway and What Can I Do, the crowd’s enthusiasm was undeniable. The band was visibly moved by the audience’s energy, showing the deep connection between The Corrs and their Filipino fans.

Andrea shared memories of their previous visits to the Philippines, expressing how the band always felt at home. The audience responded with cheers, a reflection of the long-standing bond between the band and their Filipino supporters.

As the concert neared its end, the energy in the arena peaked with So Young, getting the entire crowd on their feet. They closed with Breathless, filling the venue with clapping and singing, as phone lights illuminated the venue. For the encore, they performed Toss the Feathers, a fitting end that had fans dancing and clapping together.
As the final notes faded and the band took their last bow, it was clear The Corrs had once again delivered a performance to remember.
