5 Things You Wouldn’t Want to Miss at Bang Yedam’s Fan Meeting

He is coming to us, BY:Ds! K-Pop soloist and producer Bang Yedam is set to visit Manila for his first Asia fan meeting ‘Be Your D..’ on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Samsung Hall, SM Aura, organized by HY Live.

Here are some things you can expect at the event:

Incredible Cover Songs

Known for his iconic rendition of Shawn Mendes’ “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” on Mnet’s reality show “Stray Kids,” with over 57 million views on YouTube as of the writing, Yedam performed this hit song again at his fan meetings abroad. He also covered Riize’s “Get a Guitar,” ILLIT’s “Magnetic,” Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” and more, leaving the fans in awe. As expected, he always adds flavor to the songs he covers—that’s why Filo BY:Ds must look forward to the setlist he prepared!  

Heavenly Vocals

Coming from a family of musicians, it’s no surprise that Yedam has an angelic voice that could bless your ears. From getting praised by Park Jin Young (JYP) and BoA in survival shows for his singing abilities to being recognized by international artists, such as Shawn Mendes, Pink Sweat$, and Stephanie Poetri for his singing covers—there is no doubt that he has one of the best vocal ranges in the industry.

In a recent interview, he even revealed that he hit his highest note yet in his collaboration with aespa’s Winter, “Officially Cool,” in which he reached the 4th-octave note C. Hopefully, we’ll get to hear this live at his fan meeting.
