TOAST: The Best of Bread to Perform in Manila and Cebu This August

American tribute act TOAST: The Best of Bread is bringing the timeless music of Bread to the Philippines for two concerts this August.

The group will perform at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on August 12, followed by a show at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel on August 15, 2026.

Known for recreating Bread’s signature sound with remarkable accuracy, TOAST has earned praise for delivering live performances that closely resemble the band’s original recordings. The tribute act seeks to give audiences a nostalgic concert experience built around the songs that helped define the soft-rock era.

Bread emerged as one of the leading names in soft rock during the early 1970s. Its heartfelt melodies and introspective lyrics produced enduring classics such as “Make It With You,” “If,” “Baby I’m-A Want You,” and “Everything I Own.”

During its Philippine shows, TOAST is expected to perform more favorites from Bread’s catalog, including “Aubrey,” “Sweet Surrender,” “It Don’t Matter to Me,” “Clouds,” “Mother Freedom,” “The Guitar Man,” “Games of Magic,” and “Lost Without Your Love.”

The setlist will also feature “Goodbye Girl,” one of David Gates’ best-known solo recordings. Gates served as Bread’s lead vocalist and principal songwriter.

Audiences who have attended TOAST’s previous concerts have praised the group’s faithful interpretation of Bread’s music. Fans have also described its performances as nostalgic and emotional, bringing back memories associated with the original songs.

Filipino singer-songwriter Noel Cabangon will join the Manila and Cebu concerts as a special guest.

Tickets for the Smart Araneta Coliseum show are priced at P5,800, P4,800, P3,800, P2,800, P2,300, and P1,800. Meanwhile, tickets for the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel concert cost P4,500, P4,000, P3,500, P2,500, P1,500, and P1,000.
