Be Closer at Lee Sung Kyoung’s Manila Fanmeet

K-drama actress Lee Sung Kyoung is coming to Manila for her “Be Closer” fan meeting!

A top-caliber Korean celebrity is making her way back to Manila! As announced by local promoter CDM Entertainment, Korean actress Lee Sung Kyung is returning to Manila on July 8. Her “Be Closer” tour will kick off in Japan on June 18, Taiwan this June 24, followed by Manila on July 8, and will conclude in Seoul on July 22

The 32-year-old actress soared to prominence in 2016 after releasing the coming-of-age drama “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo,” inspired by an Olympic gold medalist. Her title role became a phenomenon in South Korea and beyond, inspiring pop culture expressions such as “Swag!” and “Do you like Messi?”

The award-winning actress is well-known for her roles in K-drama series, including “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo”, “It’s Okay, That’s Love,”, “Dr. Romantic 2,” and “Shooting Stars.”

She will kick off her Asia Tour in Tokyo and Taipei next month, followed by Manila and Seoul in July.

With this being her second fan meetup in the Philippines, the audience is primed for even more amazing surprises from the multi-talented entertainer. In addition, the coveted ‘Hi-Touch’ perk is returned, in which Sung Kyoung will give each attendee a high five.
