Baekhyun’s “The Best Day” Fan Meeting in Manila: A Night to Remember

On February 2, Baekhyun held his “The Best Day” fan meeting at the Mall of Asia Arena. Filipino EXO-Ls showed their love and excitement even before the event started, expressing their affection in Filipino, English, and Korean. To make the night even more special, fans practiced dance moves to Baekhyun’s “Candy” and EXO’s “History” in hopes of impressing him.

A Grand Opening with Music and Warm Greetings

The fan meeting began with Baekhyun performing “Good Morning,” a track from his recent album, Hello World. Welcoming his Filipino fans with a bright smile, he shared his happiness about spending time with them. He also pointed out a fun coincidence—Bench, Baekhyun, and Best Day all start with the letter “B.”

Baekhyun delighted fans by sharing a glimpse of his experience in the Philippines, mentioning that he had the opportunity to enjoy Filipino cuisine at CEO Ben Chan’s home. He also expressed his desire to try bulalo due to its similarities with galbitang, a Korean beef soup.

The first segment of the night featured a discussion about Baekhyun’s social media posts. Fans got to hear his thoughts on various topics, including his experience filming the “Pineapple Slice” music video. Baekhyun enjoyed the process, appreciating the beautiful location and the warm reception from people waving as he passed by. The relaxed schedule allowed him to fully enjoy the experience.

Towards the end, Baekhyun shared a heartfelt message:

He then performed “Rendezvous,” another song from his Hello World album. Hoping for an encore, fans sang “Pineapple Slice” in unison, and Baekhyun happily returned to perform it live. Ten more lucky fans from UB, LB, and VIP sections won signed Bench merchandise.

As the night came to a close, Baekhyun reflected on the event, saying that from the beginning, he wanted the fan meeting to feel intimate and comfortable.
