KWAVE Music Festival Relocates to Manila with Free Admission
Organizers announced on Friday that the venue for an upcoming music festival featuring K-pop and P-pop acts has been relocated to Manila, and admission is now free for all interested attendees.
The KWAVE Music Festival, scheduled for May 11, will now be held at Burnham Green, Quirino Grandstand in Manila, according to a statement released on their social media pages. This change was made in response to feedback from fans who raised concerns about the original venue at the New Clark City Stadium in Tarlac.
In addition to the venue change, organizers emphasized that entry to the event will be “free of charge.” They highlighted the significance of the event falling close to the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Korea, expressing gratitude for the friendship and cultural exchange between the two nations.
Organizers stated that individuals who have already purchased tickets will receive full refunds and will also be guaranteed seats for the event.
The festival’s lineup features popular K-pop groups such as The Boyz and fromis_9, alongside P-pop teams PLUUS, YGIG, KAIA and YARA.
Furthermore, the festival will serve as the closing ceremony for the Badminton Asia tournament.
