SMHCC hopes to expand its presence in the “City of Smiles” by providing more accommodation alternatives and leaving an everlasting impression on the city’s tourism sector as the hotel formally welcomes visitors.

“SMHCC isn’t just looking to expand the number of brands under our umbrella. More importantly, we intend to create sources of income for our people through creating jobs, especially in these difficult times. Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod, as the city’s first international hotel brand, is another another feather in SMHCC’s cap, as it raises hospitality to new heights in this expanding metropolis. Indeed, as we continue to extend our brand footprint across the Philippines, it is a clear evidence of SMHCC’s excitement and confidence in the future,” stated Ms. Peggy E. Angeles, SMHCC Executive Vice President.

The new Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod is located within the SM City Bacolod lifestyle mall, giving visitors immediate access to a wide range of retail, dining, and entertainment options, as well as the SMX Convention Center. Superior Accommodations, Deluxe Rooms, and Junior Suites are among the 150 modern rooms ranging in size from 25 to 49 square meters. Comfortable king or double mattresses, refreshing showers, and convenient amenities like bedside USB connections and free Wi-Fi are available to all visitors.

Families may unwind with in-room spa facilities, a fitness center, and a jogging trail, or make a splash in separate outdoor pools for adults and children. Do you have a hunger pang? Arima, an inviting all-day dining destination that serves a wide range of international dishes; DASH, the ground floor “Grab & Go” concept; Lobby Lounge, a casual café and juice bar; and Marapara Plaza, an inviting alfresco venue that specializes in comfort food and cool drinks, are among the four restaurants and bars available to guests. Art Cove, the hotel’s colorful gallery space dedicated to presenting the work of local artists and photographers with regular shows, is a great place for guests interested in learning more about the local arts scene.

For business travelers and meeting planners, the Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod offers three 230m2 function rooms that can accommodate a variety of events such as business meetings, training sessions, and media briefings, all with video equipment and professional services. Arima’s private dining rooms are suitable for hosting life’s significant moments.

“Park Inn by Radisson is one of the Philippines’ fastest-growing brands, and we’re excited to add another exceptional hotel to our portfolio in this exciting country. This will also be Bacolod City’s first internationally branded hotel, demonstrating our successful approach of bringing world-class hospitality to Asia’s emerging cities. Upper midscale hotels are becoming increasingly popular, and we want to bring our fresh and welcoming Park Inn by Radisson hotels to even more cities across the region,” said Andre de Jong, Vice President, Operations, Radisson Hotel Group, South East Asia and Pacific.

SMHCC has added Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod to its list of five existing Radisson Hotel brands in the Philippines. Radisson Blu Cebu, Park Inn by Radisson Clark, Park Inn by Radisson Davao, Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo, and Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA are the hotels in question.
