Park Inn By Radisson Bacolod Provides Guests With A Golden Experience With Jojo Vito’s “Gilded Expressions

The Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod is pleased to present “Gilded Expressions,” a solo exhibition by acclaimed installation artist Jojo Vito.

“Gilded Expressions” is the first installation art exhibit hosted by Art Cove, featuring fibreglass and metallic sculptures by Jojo Vito. The exhibition features purely decorative works of art and other functional works, such as large laminated mirrors, lampshades, vases, and more, made from elegant natural materials such as golden capiz shells and other glittering shells that are abundant in Negros.

Launched on the artist’s birthday, March 22, 2023, “Gilded Expression” is a commemorative exhibition of Jojo Vito’s limited edition works, which explore the intricate relationships between light, space, and texture and feature a series of immersive installations that invite the viewer to experience the interplay between materiality and significance.

“The term gilded suggests something beautiful and shimmering. Something that is extravagant. All of us have desires and dreams to acquire gilded objects – to enrich our lives. By creating these masterpieces, I hope to encourage others to always pursue their dreams. For me, gilded represents reinvention; to remain relevant, individuals must constantly reinvent themselves. In his speech, Jojo Vito states, “If there is such a thing as seeing things with a silver lining, or perhaps a golden lining, then I do.”
