The Korean Music Awards, commonly known as the Hanteo Music Awards, wrapped up its two-day ceremony with the announcement of winners from the first day’s broadcast. Among the victors were BTS members Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung, along with NewJeans and Stray Kids, sparking the beginning of festivities.

Held at Seoul’s Dongdaemun Design Plaza on February 17, 2024, the event, hosted by TVXQ’s Changmin, showcased a diverse array of K-pop luminaries. Winners were determined by data from the Hanteo Chart and online fan voting.

The ceremony, spanning February 17 and 18, featured captivating performances, including Just B’s rendition of Super Junior’s “Sorry, Sorry,” Billlie’s interpretation of “The Boys” by Girls’ Generation (SNSD), and Tempest’s take on BTS’s Grammy-nominated hit “Dynamite.” Viviz also graced the stage with performances of “Untie” and “Maniac,” among others.
