The band opened ROSETOPIA in Manila with their recently released track, “Utopia,” immediately setting a lively atmosphere as Filipino Black Roses welcomed them back with excitement. “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Rosetopia!” Sammy exclaimed.

The energy continued with “Lifeline,” where Sammy changed the lyrics from “I can be your lifeline” to “The Rose can be your lifeline,” making the moment extra special for Filipino Black Roses. The band then performed “You’re Beautiful,” followed by “RED,” which had fans jumping and vibing like the whole arena was one big party. The energy rose even more with “YES,” where all four members, including Dylan and Jeff, sang a part of the song.

Sammy then introduced the band and its members to the crowd, earning loud cheers from Filipino Black Roses. The Rose kept the momentum going with “Walking on Clouds” and “Threshold,” both from their upcoming album, ROSE, set for release this August. They also performed emotional tracks including “Nebula,” “Shift,” “Time,” and “Slowly.”

“Thank you so much for believing in us and coming to the show,” Sammy told their Filipino fans. He also shared a few details about their upcoming album, ROSE. Dylan followed with a cheerful, “What’s up, Manila?” which was met with loud cheers from the crowd. “I really, really wanted to see you guys, so thanks for being with us,” he added.

Jeff also expressed his gratitude to everyone who came to the concert and has continued to walk with the band for 10 years. “Let’s make beautiful memories tonight. So thank you so much, guys. Enjoy the show.”

Leo also had a special message for Filipino fans, which he delivered in full Filipino. “Napakalaking biyaya para sa amin ang makagawa ng musika at maibahagi ito sa buong mundo. Maraming salamat sa inyong pagmamahal at suporta sa nakaraang siyam na taon. Dahil sa inyo, narito kami ngayon. Ako, at kami ay napakasaya at proud na masabi naming kami ang The Rose.”

After the touching messages, the band returned to the stage with a series of back-to-back tracks. First up was “Back to Me,” which had Filipino Black Roses singing and screaming along to every lyric as if it were their anthem. It was followed by the unreleased track “Chemical,” then “Alive,” “Control,” and “Cosmo,” keeping Filipino Black Roses on their feet as they jumped, danced, and sang along to the music.

Sammy then opened up about the band’s decision to take a hiatus after the tour. “After these years, it’s time for us to take a small break from each other, and learn other things and do other things that we each wanted to do,” he said. “We’re going to take some time, and really, really learn again, learn about ourselves, and then we will come back together,” he added.

“We are The Rose, and we rose you!” Sammy said. The band then concluded the concert with another performance of “Utopia,” making it the perfect way to end the night. To make the finale even more special, the band handed out roses to fans.
