LINE UP FOR HALLYUWEEN 2022
Happening in the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 29, 2022. CL, EPIK HIGH, GAHO x WAVE, KARD, Pentagon, DJ Soda, and BGYO are scheduled to play during the event.
2NE1 CL
CL, or Lee Chaerin, is the leader and face of the girl group 2NE1, which debuted in 2009 under YG Entertainment. Unfortunately, 2NE1 disbanded in November 2016 due to members’ desire to focus on their endeavours.
CL had a different atmosphere from the other members of 2NE1 in terms of singing, dress, and dance style, which was sensual and unique. CL had previously trained with JYP Entertainment, but she decided to debut with 2NE1 under YG Entertainment.
Since the dissolution of 2NE1, CL has been focused on her solo career. Before the disbandment, CL had already made her solo debut, which captured netizens’ attention with sensual and elegant songs and themes for her solo debut. CL alone can capture netizens’ attention with her aura of independence. CL stunned fans with 2NE1’s return at Coachella in April 2022.
EPIK HIGH
Epik High is an alternative hip-hop group from South Korea. Tablo, Dj Tukutz, and Mithra Jin are the only members of the group. They made their debut in 2003 with the release of “Map of the Human Soul” through Woolim Entertainment.
From 2012 to 2018, they are under YG Entertainment’s management. Their Contract expired on October 2018, and they chose not to renew it. On February 2019, they signed under the William Morris Endeavour banner.
Between 2010 and 2012, the group was on hiatus because two members were serving required military duty. They are recognized for combining numerous hip-hop genres and techniques. Their fandom is known as High Skool, and the colour of their fans is black.
GAHO X KAVE
Gaho is an artist you’ve probably heard of, whether you realize it or not. The Korean singer-music songwriter has been featured on shows such as Itaewon Class, Start-up, and, most recently, Jirisan.
His soundtrack is some of the most refreshing and motivating montages in the world of K-dramas.
DJ SODA
DJ soda has taken over the EDM industry. Her stage name is now more well-known than her real name, Hwang So-hee. A girl who began DJing as a pastime quickly fell in love with it and embarked on a path to make it her job.
Her journey from college dropout to global EDM sensation has been an inspiration for many. She has travelled the globe and dropped music bombs on her YouTube channel, skyrocketing her popularity and reputation over the years.
KARD
KARD is a South Korean mixed-gender group created in 2016 by DSP Media. They made their formal debut with the mini album Hola Hola on July 2017.
Before their debut, the group issued three pre-debut singles: “Oh NaNa”, “Don’t Recall,” and “Rumor”.
PENTAGON
Pentagon () is a Korean boy band managed by CUBE Entertainment. The original lineup of Pentagon included Hui, Jinho, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yanan, Yeo One, Yuto, Kino, Wooseok, and E-Dawn. E-Dawn, however, has quit the group since CUBE Entertainment booted him out for courting K-Pop queen HyunA.
Mnet’s ‘Pentagon Maker’, a Korean survival reality television show, was used to recruit and audition members of the Pentagon. Members were chosen based on fan voting, and the final ten members were given a chance to sign a contract with CUBE Entertainment and debut as Pentagon.
BGYO
The highly awaited launch of the five-member boy group BGYO was based on these uplifting opening lyrics from their first single “The Light” music video. The introduction of the group is a call to empower the youth of today .
“Be the Change, Go Further, You and I, Originally Filipino” is the meaning of the acronym BGYO. Gelo Rivera, Akira Morishita, JL Toreliza, Mikki Claver, and Nate Porcalla formed BGYO due to their hard work, determination, and extensive training at the Star Hunt Academy, ABS-training CBN’s ground for world-class Filipino talents.
Stay tuned for more updates!
