Netflix Unveils New Cast Members for ‘One Piece’ Live-Action Series Season 2

Ahoy, “One Piece” fans! The excitement is real as Netflix has just dropped the news we’ve all been waiting for—new cast members are set to join the epic live-action adaptation for its highly anticipated second season. Fans of the series can look forward to seeing acclaimed actress Katey Sagal, who is set to portray the sharp-witted Dr. Kureha. Joining her are Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra, and Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday.

The newly announced actors will be joining previously revealed cast members such as Brendan Sean Murray as Brogy, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Clive Russell as Crocus, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Ty Keogh as Dalton, and Werner Coetser as Dorry.
Returning to their iconic roles, the main cast from Season 1 includes Iñaki Godoy as the spirited Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as the skilled swordsman Zoro, Emily Rudd as the clever navigator Nami, Jacob Romero as the sharpshooter Usopp, and Taz Skylar as the chef and martial artist Sanji. The ensemble also features Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy, and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger, ensuring continuity and excitement for the fans.
Production for Season 2 is currently underway in Cape Town, South Africa. With the new season in the works, fans can expect more epic adventures, thrilling battles, and heartwarming moments as Luffy and his crew continue their quest to find the legendary treasure, One Piece, and become the King of the Pirates.
“One Piece” is a live-action adaptation of Japan’s highest-selling manga series in history, created by Eiichiro Oda. The show is produced by Tomorrow Studios in partnership with Shueisha and Netflix. The series is spearheaded by co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers Matt Owens and Joe Tracz, with Oda himself serving as an executive producer alongside Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements through Tomorrow Studios, as well as Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, and Steven Maeda.
