PASSENGER SEAT: Discover Food At This Airplane-Themed Restaurant In Marikina!

If you don’t want to board an actual plane right now, the next best thing is to go to Passenger Seat, a Marikina restaurant.

Airplane food isn’t known for its high quality — unless you’re travelling first class with a boujee airline — but this airplane-themed eatery will convince you otherwise. Passenger Seat, a Marikina themed restaurant with comfy airplane seats and plenty of legroom, allows you to “ride” an airplane without having to prepare the necessary documentation for flying these days.

The design of Passenger Seat is inspired by airplanes, from the cushioned chairs to the “Now Boarding” airport signs. They even sell wall art that resembles the plane’s window!

Things you’d find in flights and airports can be found all over the restaurant, including a cashier dressed up as an immigration booth. There’s no getting out of the airport without going through immigration, just like in the real world!

The restaurant serves a wide range of meals from other cuisines, so you can travel in that sense as well. The foods they provide are also titled after places, such as the boodle fight spread, which is cleverly dubbed Boodle Flights and comes in several variations. There’s the Manila boodle fight (P585), which includes a variety of meats; Palawan (P599), which includes a variety of fish; and the Pilipinas (P1,499), which combines the two.

Tagaytay (P350) is a bulalo dish, and Zambales Sinigang sa Miso (P350) is a sinigang dish (P235). There’s also international delicacies like a Brussels burger (P65), Kyoto chicken wings (P159), California nachos (P125), and France (P155), a tomato-based spaghetti with shellfish.

The Belgium Sizzling Brownies are a giant brownie smothered in melted chocolate, topped with ice cream, and served on a sizzling plate for dessert.

Passenger Seat is located at Ground Floor, Riverbanks Mall, A. Bonifacio Avenue, Barangka, Marikina City.
