RADISSON BLU CEBU: Pet-Friendly Hotel With A Panoramic View Of The City

Cebu is the top place to visit in the Philippines and it can be quite a challenge to find a good hotel that accepts pets along with a really good international cuisine. If you’re looking for a hotel that does not only transport friendly but right at the center of Cebu city; then you must stay at the Radison Blu Cebu. It is also known as the first Radisson Blu in Asia-Pacific.

This hotel is one of our favorite hotels to stay in Cebu due to the window view of the entire city and not to mention that it’s really close to many of the famous white beaches and cultural attractions. The hotel is right next to the port which means you can also travel to Manila and many other areas of the Philippines by ship. Cebu’s International Airport is also 11 kilometers away.

Just below the hotel, a bus station is nearby, and right next to the hotel is SM City Cebu where tourists can go shopping for clothes and other goods.

Since the Philippines is under a pandemic; social distancing is practiced while dining and face masks are used within the hotel. Safety is the top priority of the hotel.

Parking is available for guests who plan to stay or even dine in. The moment you enter the hotel, you can’t help but love the classy interior and design. The modern look of the hotel will help you relax which is the perfect way to start your vacation or even have a meeting. One of the first things that we notice is the chandelier which gives off a majestic look in the day and night. The hotel takes safety as the most precaution due to the pandemic where temperature checks are taken along with the use of alcohol.

The restaurant is just as comfy since visitors will have a majestic view of the garden outside the hotel. It has a modern look along with the bar and we were lucky enough to try some of their new dishes!

The garden looks like an oasis that visitors can actually go around for a walk. The place is just perfect for a wedding or a prenup. The hotel still remains the popular place for weddings events, seminars etc.

There are also three hammocks and an alfresco pool bar. The alfresco bar looks absolutely gorgeous day and night.

We also love the bar food. and cocktails! Just simply tell the chef and bartender what you like and they’ll do it for you!

Jacque and I absolutely loved the swimming pool which also has a jacuzzi. It simply reminds us of an oasis in the middle of the desert.

We find that the mini bridge and the pool chairs are the best places to take a great photo with the gorgeous Radisson Blu Cebu hotel right behind it. Visitors or guests can walk around their pets in the garden or play catch.

One of the buffets in Cebu City would be the famous Feria restaurant which has many international cuisines and Filipino cuisine! This is open to guests every Saturday starting at 11:30AM. You can reserve a seat by calling the hotel.

We absolutely loved the Lechon and duck. We especially loved the Indian food which remains a popular cuisine among many international guests. We have tried many famous pizzas around the Philippines but their pizza is really something else that many kids and adults will enjoy. They even serve sushi along with some beautiful Japanese decor surrounding the sushi bar area.

The Radisson Blu Cebu has many rooms that are good for a couple, friends, or family but we highly recommend the Deluxe Room and the Junior Suite.

The Deluxe Room is just perfect for travelers, couples, or even a family. Each room has its own minibar along with a bathroom and bedroom slippers. It also has an LCD satellite television. The room comes equipped with safe and basic amenities. The best part is that the Deluxe Rooms has a King size bed or even two twin beds! The Deluxe room is just perfect if you plan to go around Cebu or just simply waiting for your next flight. This room is so cozy that we guarantee that you’ll be booking the room for an extra night!

If you’re planning on staying for a longer trip, then the Junior Suite is the way to go! Get a bigger room size with a king-size bed with lots of space to relax in. Kick back and relax while also enjoying the beautiful window view with a good cup of Joe. The difference with this room is that you get the famous Radisson Blu Bathroom and slippers to go along with your separate living room!

Now, if you’re looking for the best room and if you have the budget; we highly recommend the Executive Suite. We just loved this room due to the spaciousness of the room. The best part is the LCD TV breeding from Radisson Blu Cebu with your name on it. You have a separate room with a living room and bedroom both of which have a grand view of the city. The bathroom is just as grand with its classy bathtub, shower, two bathrooms, and a changing room.

You can go for breakfast at the restaurant below but we chose to have a romantic time by having breakfast in our living room while enjoying the morning view.

Whenever we needed to buy something or if we needed extra clothes, we just walked over directly to SM City Cebu where we went shopping and got extra luggage since we bought lots of “pasalubong” (gifts).

Personal Experience: Besides the amazing rooms and restaurants, what we love about the hotel is customer service. We experience losing face shields and since we are currently in a pandemic it’s a must in some hotels. The staff provided us with some extra face shields. We also happen to leave behind one of our hoodies. The staff managed to keep it until we came back after a few days to claim it. We highly recommend this hotel due to its safety and the hospitality of the staff that made our stay extraordinary! This truly is a 5* Hotel!
