ABOUT RUSSEL PETERS

Russell Peters was recently named one of Rolling Stone’s 50 Best Comics of All Time. He started performing stand-up in Toronto at age 19 and spent years doing clubs across Canada and the UK.

In 2004, his Comedy Now! special brought him to a wider audience. He later became the first comedian to sell out Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. Since then, he’s performed in major venues like Madison Square Garden, Sydney Opera House and London’s O2 Arena, where he set a UK record for ticket sales at a solo comedy show.

Peters’ tours have been featured in specials such as Outsourced (2006), Red, White and Brown (2008), and The Green Card Tour (2010). In 2013, he released the first ever Netflix Original Comedy Special. His Deported World Tour reached audiences in 40 cities across 20 countries and was later released on Amazon Prime as Russell Peters: Deported.

He’s currently touring with Act Your Age, and RELAX brings a fresh take to his live show. Tickets go on sale Saturday, November 30 at 12 PM through TicketNet.com.ph and at TicketNet outlets nationwide.

When he’s not on tour, he splits his time between Las Vegas and Los Angeles and spends time with his two kids, Crystianna and Russell Santiago. He also trains in Jiu Jitsu and enjoys DJing in his spare time.
