Selena Quintanilla forever changed the Tex-Mex music scene with her powerful voice and charisma with memorable songs such as “Dreaming of you” and “Como La Flor“. Her life continues to be celebrated through numerous dedications and most memorably in the movie “Selena” played by yet unknown star “Jennifer Lopez“.
Selena The Series will follow the rise of Selena from a local Texas singer-songwriter to a global music phenomenon and icon. She’ll be portrayed by Twilight actress Christian Serratos — who is of Mexican and Italian descent.
Selena: The Series will chronicle Selena’s life as she and her family make “life-changing choices”.

The official premiere date for Selena: The Series will be on December 4, 2020. The two-part scripted series will launch with Part I in 2020, starting off with six one-hour episodes.
