Super Show 9: Road In Manila – Super Junior Meet PH ELFs At MOA Arena

Earlier today, it was announced that Super Show 9 in Manila was postponed. It’s difficult for the Super Junior to push through with the concert after Eunhyuk’s father’s death, but the members decided that they would still meet the PH ELFs at MOA Arena.

Host Kring Kim started the show, and she gave a statement on behalf of SM Entertainment, PULP, and Super Junior. They were grateful for having PH ELFs who went to support them.

Super Junior members take the stage to address fans. PH ELFs noticed that there was an empty spot during the meet and greet where Siwon, Eunhyuk and Heechul were supposed to be.

Ryeowook says, “ A lot of you have come today from afar but I’m really sorry that we can’t proceed with the concert today“. PH ELF’s chant “gwaenchana (it’s okay)” as the SJ onstage to deliver heartfelt messages to fans.

He continued in tears, “ We will make sure to come back here with Eunhyuk and Siwon next time“.

Leeteuk also reassured the fans that the concert isn’t cancelled but rather postponed. PH ELFS should think of it like they bought the tickets early. He also stated that he’ll request the promoter to give them 2 days next time.

Super Junior Shindong who was supposed to give a message to PH ELFs, wasn’t able to deliver a line but cry and asked others to proceed.

As a token of love, Leeteuk said the group will give a “special gift” to fans to thank them for their support.

The first Super Junior’s “special gifts” is a performance of “MY WISH,” a song from their latest album “The Road- Kep On Going”

Kyuhyun, Yesung and Ryeowook almost choked up while singing. SJ also serenaded the crowd with ‘CALLIN‘, a track of #SuperJunior’s special single album ‘The Road: Winter For Spring.’

Before they end their performance, Kyuhyun apologized to PH ELFs for the guys isn’t smiling to see them at Mall of Asia Arena for #SS9inManila.

However, Super Junior Leader Leeteuk assured the fans that they will return with “healthier members”. And Siwon will be the centre while Eunhyuk he’s duo will be right next to him and he’ll be happier that day.

The final gift that the PH ELFs received for the night is a performance of ‘MORE DAYS WITH YOU,’ a ballad from Super Junior’s 2021 album ‘The Renaissance.’

PULP Live World instructed Filipino ELFs to “hold on” to their tickets, as they will be honoured on the new schedule of the concert. Additional concert details will be announce in the upcoming days.
