Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon is coming to Manila

Taeyeon is coming to Manila!

Concert promoter makeitliveasia announced through their social media sites that the South Korean singer and Girls’ Generation member will join the ‘Ultimate Pop Universe – K-VERSE‘.

The event will happen at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on April 11. Details about the tickets will be announced this week.

Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation

In August 2007, Taeyeon made her debut as a K-pop star member of Girls’ Generation, also known as SNSD. She is also a successful solo artist with songs like “Fine,” “What Do I Call You,” and “Weekend.”

Taeyeon made her comeback as a K-Pop idol after years by performing ‘Weekend’ on music shows. After which, in January, she released the second pre-release, “Can’t Control Myself,” to give fans a taste of the “love”-themed album. The first single, “INVU,” is a house dance song with dreamy vibes in which she sings about how love makes people jealous.

The dynamic album also includes pieces like the energetic pop song ‘Never Love Again’ and the quiet R&B ballad ‘Some Nights’, in which she expresses the various feelings associated with love. Taeyeon also said that she wanted “INVU” to be a gift for her fans, so she tried to make it touch as many of their senses as possible.
