Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, vaultboy first experimented with music while he was in high school, and he has been developing his craft ever since. He chose the name Fallout as a tribute to his love of video games.
With a blend of conversational lyricism and the human condition, vaultboy is influenced by Alexander 23, Lauv, and Blackbear. “Everything Sucks” has earned over 250 million streams across all platforms and over 700k Shazams since it was released in May 2021. It has also hit #1 on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart for two weeks as well as #1 on QQ music’s Western chart.
Earlier this year, vaultboy was named SiriusXM’s ‘One To Watch’ and Rolling Stone’s ‘King of Sad Songs’. The second EP of his career will be released in August 2023, followed by new music soon after. In February 2023, vaultboy will headline his own North American shows. A full release of vaultboy’s debut album is expected in 2024, followed by an international tour.
