RICA’S KITCHEN originated from the founder’s mother’s name, “Rica.” Both parents do the cooking while their five wonderful daughters manage the business. The children take care of the digital marketing collaterals, packaging, customer service, among other responsibilities. The daughters admit that their favorite part of their job would be taste testing all the delicious dishes that their mother makes.

Like many food businesses, RICA’S KITCHEN started in May 2020 during the lockdown. It was a blessing in disguise since It’s been a family’s dream to have their own since the parents enjoy hosting dinners for family and friends. It became a family tradition that they host get-togethers at home. The father would cook his outstanding “Lechon Belly,” or there are times that their mother would decide which food to cook. She would cook Lasagna, Carbonara, Classic Pork Sisig that would match the occasion. Despite the fear the COVID19, the family found the confidence to start their lifelong dream online with their sole goal is to make people’s day to day lives more comfortable through their unique home-cooked specialties prepared and made with love by two loving parents.

The family treats every customer like they are part of the family or merely a close friend. The quality of food and the level of enthusiasm that they give to their family and friends will be equally the same for their customers. The instant hit among their customers would be the Lechon Belly, Crispy Pork Kare-Kare, Classic Pork Sisig, and Cheesy Beef Overload Lasagna.
