Bulusan Lake Sorsogon: The Ultimate Experience For Nature Lovers
Do you know that Bulusan Lake is a hidden gem of Sorsogon?
Bulusan lake has been around for centuries and has inspired many legends, but only recently has it become popular with tourists. This lake is believed to have been formed as an ancient volcano crater, one of the craters lakes in Luzon Island, northern & central Philippines. It’s located about 73 kilometres (45 miles) from Sorsogon City.
Bulusan lake is about a couple of hour’s drive from Sorsogon City, the capital region of this province in the Philippines. From Manila, it will take you a total of 7 to 8 hours to reach the lake.
The lake is beautiful—it’s clear and blue and surrounded by lush foliage and tall trees, making it feel like you’ve stepped into another world. But it’s not just the scenery that makes this place unique: the lake is also home to several rare species of fish and birds, some of which are endemic to the area.
Visitors can expect plenty of opportunities for adventure: they can go boating on the lake or participate in one of the many activities available at nearby resorts. They can also participate in various events hosted by locals or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of this little slice of paradise.
