Top Tourist Destinations In Sorsogon

Even though summer is over, with the variety of tourist activities available in Region V, any time of year is a fantastic time to visit this adventure-filled region. We had the opportunity to visit the province of Sorsogon last month.
Who wouldn’t be enthralled by the beauty of Sorsogon? With its simplicity, friendly people, and spectacular natural beauty, this little province will undoubtedly capture the heart of any traveler.
This place has so much to see, discover, and experience. To help you get started arranging a memorable trip, below are the top tourist attractions in Sorsogon:

LIST OF TOP TOURIST ATTRACTIONS IN SORSOGON:
Bulusan Lake

Bulusuan Volcano Natural Park is situated in Sorsogon. You can rent a kayak or take a boat ride to explore the lake while wearing a life jacket. The personnel will assist you if there are any issues. Overall, it’s an excellent arm workout and an enjoyable experience.
Donsol Whale Shark Interaction
Donsol is an excellent spot for snorkeling with whale sharks. Whale sharks flock to Donsol from November to May to feast on the area’s intense concentration of plankton and krill.
You’ll arrive at the bay via boat, where a spotter will tell you to jump in and swim alongside the whale sharks as they approach the surface. In Donsol, you’re lucky if you get close to these whale sharks, which may grow four to twelve meters long (though residents claim to have seen larger ones).
Buhatan River Cruise

River cabanas provide a pleasant bamboo rafting experience. Sitting on the cushions and listening to the birds while drifting along the river is relaxing. You’ll also be able to see the sunset from this location. Local delicacies are also available at Buhatan River Cruise
Zoe’s resort & eco-adventure park
Zoe’s Resort and Eco Adventure Park caters to travelers who enjoy adventure and peace. We explored two of the three spectacular waterfalls hidden in the forest: Kambal Busay Falls and Hidden Falls.
You’ll have to hike through the woods and up to these falls. The Kambal Busay Falls, which you may reach by going down a hundred steps, is your first stop. You can relax and swim in the cold water before hiking past boulders to Hidden Falls, where cool water pours over rocks.
Subic Beach

Subic beach is a must-visit destination in Sorsogon! This is one of my bucket list destinations because it is one of the few powdery pink sand beaches with crystal blue water. If you’re seeking a vacation or a location to de-stress from social media, this beach is a place to go.
Juag Lagoon Marine Sanctuary

After seeing Subic Beach, visiting the Juag Lagoon Fish Sanctuary is a pleasant side trip. Traveling by boat takes about 10 minutes. Feeding and snorkeling are two ways to interact with the many species in this refuge.
The Pili Haven

Pili Haven isn’t your typical agricultural experience! Discover a one-of-a-kind farm cafe, a bamboo bridge, and Instagram-worthy locations. Staying in one of their little A-shaped huts is another way to interact with nature.
Gibalon Shrine
According to legend, the first mass in Luzon was held here in the Gibalon shrine in 1569. During Visita Iglesia, a large number of people flock to this location.
St. Michael Archangel Irosin Parish Church
The parish church of St. Michael Archangel Irosin is located on a hilltop. It’s a terrific workout climbing up the 74 stairs to the summit, and once you’re there, you’ll be rewarded with the chapel’s grandeur and a great view of Mt. Bulusan.
Casa Feliz
If you need a place to stay in Juban, Casa Feliz offers rooms for rent for an overnight stay. During the Spanish era, the famous historic mansions of Juban were constructed. They can also put together customized travel packages from adjacent tourist spots in the province of Sorsogon.
Museo Sorsogon
Sorsogon Museo is a portal to the province’s historical sites, allowing locals and visitors alike to walk through, experience, and emerge from Sorsogon’s past. This museum was previously a provincial jail and was converted into a modern museum in 2019 because it recognized the potential of its 1900s architectural design and was envisioned as the province’s historical and cultural hub.
