Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ major airline, improved customer service at NAIA T3 by allowing passengers who completed online check-in to enter through a designated gate, among other conveniences.

Customers who checked in online at the NAIA T3 Departures (Online Check-In Entrance) can proceed directly to the boarding gates from the first entrance (Online Check-In Entrance).

Passengers who need to check their luggage can go to CEB’s self-bag tag kiosks on Isle E, scan their boarding cards at a machine, and print and attach the tags to their bags. Then, domestic travellers may proceed to the online check-in bag drop counters at E16-E29. At the same time, international passengers may consult flight information monitors near Isles D and E to determine the counters assigned to them.

Meanwhile, travellers who did not check in online may enter through Gates 1 & 2 and then use check-in kiosks positioned between Isles D and E. In addition to printing their bag tags, they may use the bag drop counters between D16-D29 and E1-E15.

CEB will provide a repacking area where all passengers can determine whether or not they have exceeded their stowage allowance. It also allows passengers to repack or rearrange their luggage if necessary quickly.

The airline is also prepared to resolve passengers’ concerns with same-day flights, as its ticket office near NAIA T3 Arrival Gate 6 is staffed 24/7.

According to Lei Apostol, vice president of customer service operations for Cebu Pacific, their top priority is ensuring the safety & comfort of our travellers. As demand for air travel increases, they expect that these solutions will enable their customers to travel more conveniently and reach their destinations without difficulty.

Cesar Chiong, general manager of the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), praised CEB’s initiatives to enhance the passenger experience at NAIA T3. He said, “Our priority is to provide the highest quality service to the travelling public and our fellow Filipinos. This supports our overall mission to continuously improve the travel experience for all NAIA passengers”.

MIAA has made it easier for people to travel, such as getting rid of the first security check in all four NAIA terminals, moving some domestic and international flights to different airports, and starting several digitalization projects.

CEB Pac advises its passengers to book their flights online by establishing a MyCebuPacific account so they can, among other things, receive notifications about managing their bookings and upcoming trips and accessing their Travel Funds.
