CLOUD 9 ANTIPOLO: 360 Deck and Hanging Bridge In Rizal

Antipolo has become one of the most popular weekend getaways near Manila, partly due to its accessibility and vicinity. Although the city center is densely populated, the city’s hilly outskirts emanate a rural atmosphere and rustic allure that attracts to people seeking a quick and easy retreat from the city. This is why the city is filled with gorgeous spa resorts, concept restaurants, and tranquil nature parks.

Cloud 9 Sports and Leisure Club, one of the most well-known leisure centers, was originally offered to the public as a restaurant in 1995. Eventually, accommodations and other entertainment and event facilities were added.

The primary attraction, however, is the 360° View Deck, which provides a panoramic view of the surrounding area, including a distant view of Metro Manila and an outstanding sunset. A spectacular suspension bridge connects to the observation deck. Cloud 9 is also home to the biggest Philippine flag in the Philippines. They will be opening a zip line as part of its attractions.

ARE CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY PERMITTED?

Only guests between the ages of 15 and 65 are permitted inside.

Note that guests who pose a greater health risk or who are immunocompromised are also not permitted in. This complies with IATF regulations and processes.

However, if you intend to stay in one of the rooms, it is strongly recommended that you make a reservation or advance booking, particularly on weekends and holidays.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT?

Weekdays. We arrived during the week, so we were able to easily reserve a table at the restaurant. We did not have to wait in line for the suspension bridge because there was none. We were free to enjoy the vista and take photographs at our own speed.

If you must visit on weekdays or holidays, arrive early to maximize your experience. If you plan to have lunch at the restaurant in order to gain free access to the observation deck and suspension bridge, arrive before 11:30 a.m. and opt for brunch instead.

HOW TO GO TO CLOUD 9 SPORTS AND LEISURE CLUB?

Cloud 9 is located along Sumulong Highway in Barangay Santa Cruz, near Kaulayaw Coffee.

Public Transportation:Take a jeepney, FX, or UV from Metro Manila (especially Mandaluyong, Pasig, or Cubao) to Antipolo, either to Antipolo Church or those plying Sumulong Highway. If you are visiting Antipolo Cathedral, you may get off there. You can then ride a tricycle to Cloud 9 from there.

Private Car: You should utilize Google Maps or Waze. Inside Cloud 9 are designated parking spots. Parking is complimentary.

MOST POPULAR FEATURES IN CLOUD 9 ANTIPOLO

-Sky Bridge. This is the suspension bridge that connects the information building, where the restaurant and museum are also located, to the building containing the 360° View Deck and a few guest rooms.

-360° View Deck. The observation deck provides a picturesque view of the surrounding area and the skyscrapers of Metro Manila, day or night. This is also a great place to observe the sunset. Additionally, you will observe the metal railings with love locks.

-Butuan Caraga Heritage Museum. This contains a modest selection of Butuan City and Caraga Region-related archaeological objects and artifacts (Region XIII).

-Metal Walkway. This is the basement floor of the building housing the 360° View Deck. This metal walkway carries tourists back to the Information Building and to the exit. The pathway is adorned with vegetation, giving it the appearance of a plant canopy and making it a popular photo opportunity.

WHERE DO WE EAT?

Cloud 9 Restaurant. This hotel is big and directly across from the Information Desk. Their menu is quite broad, so it took us some time to place our orders.

The restaurant serves hot and cold beverages, beer, cocktails and long drinks, wine and liquors. You may also rent the following additional amenities:

KTV Room Rate: PHP 300 per hour
Kubo PHP 50-200 per hour (depending on the size and type)
Umbrella Type: PHP 40/hour

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

-No entry without a face mask
-Maintain a strict social distance of one meter.
-No pets permitted.
-No smoking.

SKY BRIDGE & 360-DEGREE OBSERVATION DECK

-Only 15 individuals are permitted to cross the hanging bridge at one time.
-To reduce delays and crowding on specific sections of the bridge, no selfies are permitted while crossing.
-Always maintain a one-meter distance.
-Individuals who are intoxicated are forbidden.
-People with medical issues are not permitted.
-Those who suffer from acrophobia are prohibited.
-Children are required to be accompanied by their parents or guardians.
-No food or beverages permitted.
-Those wearing heels are prohibited from crossing the hanging bridge.
-No smoking.
-No spitting.
-No running, skipping, and horseplaying.
-No kite-flying.
-Umbrellas are not permitted.

WHEN TO GO?

-The restaurant is likely to be packed during weekends, holidays, and other times of high demand. There is a strong possibility that you will have to wait for tables to clear before being seated.
-Expect long lines during peak hours, weekends, and holidays if you wish to cross the hanging bridge, as it can only accommodate 15 people at once.
-At the observation platform, passengers are only permitted 10 minutes to enjoy the view and take photographs, however enforcement may be less stringent during the week.
-There are alcohol vending machines located throughout the museum. However, you should bring your own alcohol or hand sanitizer.
-Please be considerate to others. Do not linger too long when photographing popular locations.
-Put on comfy clothing and shoes.
-Please avoid littering. Properly dispose of your rubbish.
-Please comply with the regulations.
