ENHYPEN is one of the most prominent K-POP groups of this generation. From tours to comebacks to various activities worldwide, they dominate the concert stages and gather incredible records with their albums. The members have shown their 1000% energy and love for their fans by doing these non-stop activities to meet and make ENGENEs happy.

However, as time passes, ENGENEs have noticed that the group does not have enough rest due to their jam-packed schedule. They have been flying out of Korea from time to time; they barely go back to their dorms, having little to no rest and time to go home to their families.

In September 2022, ENHYPEN started going around the world for their MANIFESTO Tour and it ended in February 2023. Right after that, they had their comeback for Dark Blood in May 2023. It shocked the fans when BELIFT Lab announced they were having another tour which is FATE Tour that started in July 2023.

Since then, the members have been going worldwide again to hold concerts and meet ENGENEs. Take note that they also have different schedules to attend to in between their concerts. The FATE Tour ended last February 2024 in the Philippines, but little did the fans know, there’s more. BELIFT Lab announced that there will be a FATE+ Tour, which will take place again in some of the same countries that they went to for the FATE Tour.

This became a hot topic as fans were worried and frustrated with how busy the group was. ENGENEs consistently called out ENHYPEN’s company to prioritize the group’s health. No statements were released from the company; however, the members constantly reassured that they were doing fine and were healthy.

While on tour, the group also had their most recent comeback, Romance:Untold. They had numerous events during their promotion period as well as contents that were released. Fans have always been concerned about the group’s well-being and overall condition as they never had the chance to rest, even in their dorms.

Last June, BELIFT Lab posted a notice regarding Jay’s health, expressing that Jay is suffering from discomfort in his knee. With that, Jay was advised to minimize excessive movements during the concert in Hiroshima and sit on a chair throughout the event which made him burst into tears as he was sorry to disappoint those who attended. ENGENEs expressed their love for Jay and never blamed him for this incident as they know how dedicated he is with his job.

The fans already noticed Jay’s knee pain way back when there was a clip in ENHYPEN’s EN-O’CLOCK where Jay was seen limping after running.

This made ENGENEs furious as BELIFT Lab continued to overwork the group. ENGENEs have shown their disappointment with how the company treats the members, as they do not consider the group’s overall condition. Despite having consistent callouts from the fans, BELIFT never addressed the people’s concerns.

On August 24, 2024, BELFT Lab posted on Weverse another notice regarding Jay’s health and reported that Jay experienced a sudden fever and visited a hospital. He was diagnosed with the flu. He was advised to rest extensively and not participate in FATE+ Japan – Aichi.

Even though the company said that their artists’ health is their top priority, it does not reflect on the current situation. Even the other members have conveyed their tiredness and lack of sleep. It seems like the company does not take the members’ health seriously.

Even though they are idols, they are still humans after all who deserve to rest and have time for themselves. ENGENEs are wishing and praying for Jay’s recovery and are still calling out BELIFT Lab.

Rest and recover well, Jay!
