SM SKATING: Enjoy A Safe Skating Experience At The Mall Of Asia

It’s time to get back on the ice! Enjoy a great afternoon with a great ice-skating experience with your best friends at the Mall of Asia. The best news is you can even bring your skates and gear if you own a pair.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Ice Skating Rink for everyone to have fun
• Figure Ice Skating, Speed Skating, and Ice Hockey
• Polar Bear Skate Aid is available for beginners
• Lockers are available for rent
• Skates and safety helmets
• Store for skates, socks, hockey, and other skating gear
• Potato Corner is nearby if you need a snack
• Comfort Room and Changing Room
• Parking Available

WHAT IS THE 2-HOUR PASS?

• For PHP 330, customers who avail of the 2-hour Pass will have access to the ice skating rink for 2 hours at a designated time slot, inclusive of skate shoes and gearts.

2 HOUR PASS SCHEDULE:

• Monday to Wednesday
  (12:15PM to 2:15PM & 2:30PM to 4:30PM)
• Thursday to Sunday
  (12:15PM to 2:15PM, 2:30PM t0 4:30PM, 4:45PM to 6:45PM)
• There will be 15-minute intervals in between time slots for clearing, sanitation, and the Zamboni

WHAT IS THE AFTERNOON PASS?

• For PHP 449, guests will have access to the ice skating rink for an entire afternoon, inclusive of skate shoes and gear.

AFTERNOON PASS SCHEDULE:

• Monday to Wednesday
  12:15PM to 4:30PM
• Thursday to Sunday
  12:15PM to 6:45PM
• Guests availing of the afternoon pass will have to vacate the rink every two hours (following the schedule) and will be allowed re-entry to the rink once clearing, sanitation, and Zamboni are done.

WHAT ARE THE SAFETY PROTOCOLS IN PLACE?

• SM Skating is granted the ‘Safety Seal’ which guarantees compliance to the minimum health and safety standards imposed by the government.
• All Staff and coaches are fully vaccinated.
• Skating schedules are implemented to ensure the health and safety of the visitors.
• One-way flow of traffic is to be observed in the ice skating rink.
• All visitors are required to wear face masks properly at all times.
• Visitors who will skate are advised to wear or bring socks for hygienic purposes.
• All skate shoes and gears are thoroughly sanitized before and after use.
• Social distancing is enforced within the premises of the rink.
• Hand sanitation among visitors is highly encouraged.

ARE ALL SPORTS EQUIPMENT SANITIZED BEFORE AND AFTER USE?

• Yes, all skating shoes and gears are sanitized thoroughly; UV Technology will be used during the sanitation process.

WHAT IS THE PROPER ATTIRE TO BE WORN WHILE SKATING?

• Hand gloves
• Pants/leg warmers
• Sports socks with skates
• Correct size of skates
• Protective helmets

CAN I BRING MY OWN PAIR OF SKATES?

• Yes, you can bring your own skates but there will be no reduction in the skating rates.
