iKON Starts New Variety Show Returning Student Theater

iKON has started a new chapter with the release of “Episode 0,” a teaser for their upcoming variety show. In the video, the members talk about possible activities and the direction of the project. It is presented as a continuation of what they did in iKON TV.

The show is titled Returning Student Theater. It is a self-produced variety program created by the four members who have completed their military service. The goal is to reconnect with long-time fans and introduce new viewers to the group after their hiatus.

Fans have been waiting for new content since the members began returning from service. There are also ongoing reports about a possible comeback and a concert tour later this year. If confirmed, this would be their first major group activity in about two years.

The teaser includes a short look at their planning process. One segment focuses on a moment called the “NEW Content Item Leak Incident” during a production meeting. It shows the group’s usual candid style and how they approach content creation.

The first episode of Returning Student Theater will premiere on March 26 at 6:00 p.m. KST.

Four members have completed their military duties. Kim Dong-hyuk (DK) is still serving in the military band. Koo Jun-hoe is expected to enlist later this year. A full six-member lineup is not expected yet.
