Among many highlights, FROM ZERO includes the new tune “Two Faced.” The band surprised fans on Wednesday by releasing a hard-hitting music video for the song, directed by Hahn. Watch it HERE. Holding nothing back, it recreates the band’s instantly recognizable characteristics, blending grainy distortion with frantic turntable scratching, crisp rhymes, and a cathartic chorus. A gritty groove anchors the music, with Shinoda masterfully rapping on the verses and Armstrong alternating between an arresting refrain and a piercing scream, “I can’t hear myself think.”
“Casualty” is another track on the album that exudes unmitigated violence. A militant groove-laden guitar crunch reverberates over the breakneck-paced punk beat. Meanwhile, Shinoda and Armstrong engage in a violent back-and-forth, punctuated by an unabashed shout, “I won’t be your casualty.” Then there’s “IGYEIH,” which is built on the explosive interaction of surprising instrumentation and unmistakable vocals. The album finishes with a moment of harsh honesty, “Good Things Go.” Shinoda acknowledges right away, “Feels like it’s rained in my head for a hundred days.” It builds to a climax of genuine emotion, culminating in a grand finale. Check out the complete tracklist below.
SiriusXM has announced the return of LINKIN PARK Radio, an exclusive pop-up channel available in-car on channel 41 until November 17 and on the SiriusXM app through December 14. LINKIN PARK will telecast their live performance of “The Emptiness Machine” from Allianz Park in São Paulo at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards. Make sure you tune in on November 24.
LINKIN PARK kicked off the season with “The Emptiness Machine.” It has burst to become the number-one rock hit in the country and the largest rock tune of 2024. It quickly rose to the top of both the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay and Alternative Airplay charts. The band has a staggering 13 #1 entries on the latter chart (the second-most in history), three of which have come in the last eighteen months. So far, “The Emptiness Machine” has accumulated a quarter-billion global streams and counting. “Heavy Is The Crown” quickly followed suit, and earlier this month, the band gave a scorching version of the League of Legends Worlds song at the 2024 World Championship opening ceremony at London’s O2 arena. The band set the final scene for FROM ZERO with the Emily-led “Over Each Other,” which Revolver described as “an emotional rocker.”
