A return as raw as their first time in Manila – Neck Deep proved that time has only deepened the Manila’s love for the UK pop-punk titans. Marking their third visit to the Philippines, the band tore through a high-voltage set on May 11 that proved both nostalgic and forward-charging. Fans packed the venue wall to wall, voices raised in unison, limbs flailing in time with every thunderous downbeat – what a Sunday night presented by PULP Live World.

Opening with “Heartbreak of the Century” before launching into a tight run of fan favorites like “Take Me With You” and “It Won’t Be Like This Forever,” the Welsh quintet held the audience in the palm of their hands. There’s an unmistakable sincerity in frontman Ben Barlow’s delivery, his vocals rough-edged but emotionally clear—a quality that’s long set Neck Deep apart from their Warped Tour-era peers. Their setlist was made of strong 18 songs amped for their Philippine stop with no lull—just a seamless exchange between band and audience, each song tightening the connection.

And by the time “In Bloom” closed the show, the NFT energy was in full crescendo. A perfect ending dropped by these pop-punk heroes.
