EXO’s Xiumin Lights Up Manila with His First Solo Fan Concert

“Today, a lot of you came here tonight… how have you guys been?” With that opening line and his familiar smile, EXO’s Xiumin began his first solo fan concert in the Philippines. It was a night that felt more like a gathering than a performance.
He opened with “Daisy,” and fans responded by lighting up the venue with a wave of daisies that filled the theater. Xiumin paused to take it all in and said, “It’s so pretty—like a lot of blinking sparkles.”

The concert was styled like a live magazine feature called Xiu Times, hosted by a co-reporter named Kyungmin. The format gave fans a mix of light moments and personal stories, with Xiumin reflecting on his return to the Philippines—this time as a solo artist.
“This is my first solo tour, so I’m really looking forward to this,” he said. He also shared his hope for more visits in the future. “Maybe we can do this every year so I can keep meeting my EXO-Ls.”
And yes, he made time for his favorite local food. “Spaghetti and fries —10 out of 10,” he said about his Jollibee meal.
Hot ‘Ixxue’ Headlines: Purely Xiumin

The “magazine” segments gave fans a closer look at his everyday side. In one feature, he explained his full cleaning routine—starting with dishes, then laundry, then dusting and vacuuming—all while playing EXO’s “MAMA” for energy. He followed that with a performance of “Footsteps,” the song he used to audition for SM, tying in a story titled “X Who Passed a 90,326:1 Audition.”
Laughter filled the venue during “X Who Traveled 400 Years Back” as he appeared in a hanbok, channeling his character from Heo’s Diner. In “X Becomes a Commercial Star,” he delighted fans with an adorable version of the Chicken Banana Challenge jingle.
Finally, “X’s Wishes Come True After Stacking Blocks” had everyone cheering as he stacked 10 blocks in just 10 seconds, showing off his incredible focus and steady hands.
The Setlist

Xiumin delivered a captivating performance with a well-rounded setlist that showcased his vocal range, charm, and deep connection with fans. Songs like “Brand New,” “Serenity,” and “Switch Off” set the tone, followed by the bright energy of “Whee!” and “Feedback.”
The playful “Can’t Help Myself” and “Make You Lala” lifted the crowd, while “Lost Paradise” brought out his emotional intensity. One of the most touching moments came when fans took over the vocals during “Switch Off,” leading into a surprise fan video of “You” that left Xiumin visibly emotional.
Encore and Final Words
For the encore, he returned with “Beyond,” then short performances of “Cream Soda” and “Love Shot,” and ended with “Love Is U.” Before leaving the stage, he said, “It’s a fact—I’m not doing this stage alone. I’m doing it with EXO-Ls. You guys are really the best.”
The night felt honest and grounded. Xiumin shared his stories, his music, and a few surprises along the way. As he left the stage, he hinted at making this an annual event. For many fans, Volume 1 of Xiu Times in Manila already has them looking forward to Volume 2.
