SMX Convention Center Clark In Pampanga

With the opening of the SMX Convention Center Clark on May 24, 2022, SM Hotels and Conventions Corp. (SMHCC) will continue to build its brand across the Philippines.

SMHCC President Elizabeth T. Sy and Mabalacat City Mayor Cris Garbo’s representative, Board Member-Elect Win Garbo, led the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. SCMC President Steven Tan, SMHCC Executive Vice President Peggy E. Angeles, SMHCC Senior Vice President for Operations Walid Wafik, Clark Development Corporation Chairman Atty. Edgardo D. Pamintuan, Bases Conversion and Development Authority Head of Investment Promotions and Marketing Michelle De Vera, Department of Tourism Region 3 Division Chief Ronsan Pelariza, and SMX Convention Center Clark Senior Branch Manager Miguel Morato were also there.

“The SMX Convention Center’s location in this busy area of the North solidifies SMHCC’s unprecedented growth and optimism, as Clark Freeport is set to become the preferred MICE and tourism destination in the Asia-Pacific region by 2030. “What you have seen today are just a few of the many creative ways that these event spaces at SMX can be turned into snapshots of life that are full of rhythm, energy, and movement,” said Ms. Angeles of SMHCC.

After SMX Manila, SMX Convention Center Clark is called the second stand-alone convention center. It has more than 4,000 square meters of gross rentable space, including two levels for events and a mezzanine floor for offices. This new MICE icon is near the Park Inn by Radisson Clark and the growing SM City Clark development. It has three (3) trade halls, three (3) function rooms, and 14 smaller meeting rooms ready for events and celebrations. These famous buildings are part of the integrated business and leisure hub, which is linked by the SM Sky Line. This makes it easy for the retail, entertainment, corporate, and educational businesses in the complex to work together.

The Manuel Roxas highway takes 16 minutes to get to the SMX Convention Center Clark from the airport. The Gil Puyat Clark East Perimeter Road takes about 20 minutes.
