Spotify has launched its AI Playlist feature in beta for Premium users in the Philippines. This tool helps users create personalised playlists by simply typing in a prompt or idea.
Playlists have always been a key part of how people use Spotify. With AI Playlist, users can now generate playlists based on a simple text input, like “high-energy electropop that takes me to another world” or “workout music to make my ex jealous.” The feature builds on Spotify’s goal of helping users discover music that fits their mood or moment.
How to Use AI Playlist
- Where to find it: Open the Spotify app, go to the Search tab and type “AI Playlist.”
- How it works: Enter a prompt. Spotify will create a playlist based on your listening habits, genres, and artists you’re likely to enjoy. You can adjust the results by asking for changes like “more upbeat” or “add newer songs.”
Tips for Better Results
Prompts work best when you include a mix of genres, moods, or artist names. You can also reference things like animals, activities, movie characters, colours or emojis to guide the vibe you want.
