Indie superstars TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB will be coming to Manila this year, so set your alarms and mark your calendars. The performance, proudly presented by PULP Live World, will take place in the SM Mall of Asia Arena on August 13, 2023.

Northern Ireland’s TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB, regarded by fans as one of the most legendary indie bands, began as a self-producing group. 2010 marked the release of their debut album, Tourist History, which features their biggest song, “What You Know.” 2010’s Choice Music Award for Irish Album of the Year was awarded to this album, which was well acclaimed by music fans and experts.

Following the success of their debut album, their second album, Beacon (2012), was released. Within weeks of its release, it achieved number one on the Irish Albums Chart and two on the UK Albums Chart. Since then, the band’s success has been unstoppable as they continue to release successful singles and albums such as Gameshow (2016) and False Alarm (2017). (2019).

TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB is also a recurring sight at significant music festivals in the United States and Europe, such as Glastonbury Festival and Reading & Leeds Festival, to name a few. In addition to this, they routinely receive nominations and awards from organizations such as the NME and MTV.

TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB continues to amaze their fans with the release of their brand-new studio album Keep On Smiling in 2022, featuring the singles “Wonderful Life” and “Lucky.” The album is also a testament to their consistent yet diverse sound, which ranges from indie-alternative to synth to New Wave to Dance-punk.

Alex Trimble (vocals), Sam Halliday (lead guitar), and Kevin Baird (bass) will announce further gigs as the new year begins. Their most recent tour will be remarkable as they cross international lines to present their music to fans worldwide, including a rare visit to the Philippines to reunite with their Filipino fans.
