Vigilante: Dark Korean Drama coming this year on Disney+

Kim Jiyong, exhausted by the failure of the legal system and the release of chronic offenders, resolves to take action. Jiyong, a star student at the police academy, is an aspiring martial arts master, a bookworm, and has been plagued for over a decade by the image of his mother being beaten & murdered in front of him by a stranger with a violent temper. When the man who attacked his mother is released, Jiyong pursues him and captures him in the midst of another assault. Jiyong is set on a course that will lead him to target other repeat offenders and unwittingly attract media and police attention as he exacts vengeance on the non-repentant offender.
