XG Brings their XG 1st WORLD TOUR “The first HOWL” Landing at Manila 

The rising global icons XG took the stage at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on August 2, 2024, for their first-ever Manila concert. As part of the XG 1st WORLD TOUR “The first HOWL” Landing at Manila, the seven-member group delivered a night of unforgettable performances. 

Kicking off the night with their 2023 hit “SHOOTING STAR”, the seven-member group, comprised of JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA, captivated the audience with over 20 dynamic performances. The setlist was packed with fan favorites, including “Tippy Toes”, “PUPPET SHOW”, “MASCARA”, “WOKE UP”, “NEW DANCE”, “TGIF”, and “GRL GVNG”. Each member also had a chance to shine individually, showcasing their exceptional vocal and rap talents. 

The two-hour concert highlighted XG’s impressive vocal range, rap abilities, and dance moves. The group’s rap line JURIN, HARVEY, MAYA, and COCONA showcased their rap prowess, delivering smooth flows along with electrifying beats during their “XG TAPE #2,” “TAPE #4,” and “Trampoline” performances. Meanwhile, the vocal line—JURIA, HINATA, and CHISA—poured their hearts into soulful renditions of Adele’s “Hello”, Taylor Swift’s “Red”, and Beyoncé’s “If I were a boy”, leaving the audience in awe. 

The Filipino fans lived up to their reputation during the entire show. PH ALPHAZ’s cheers were undeniably loud, with everyone singing along, and some even dancing to the group’s choreography. 

Adding to the excitement, Simon Junho Park (JAKOPS), CEO & Executive Producer of XGALX also joined the festivities. His DJ set, featuring a diverse mix of songs and remixes, set the stage for the group’s performances and kept the energy high throughout the night. 

The concert was also filled with laughter as XG embraced Filipino culture by learning new Tagalog phrases like “Mahal namin kayo,” “maganda kayo,” and the iconic “Eeyy” gesture. 

In their final ment, XG promised they would return to the Philippines soon and teased the release of a new single. They closed their Manila debut with the original, upbeat version of “LEFT RIGHT”, leaving the crowd on a high note.
