NCT Dream made Czennies’ dreams a reality during their two-day concert, “The Dream Show 3: Dream()scape,” held on August 10 and 11 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. This much-anticipated event showcased the group’s electrifying performances and deep connection with their Filipino fans, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who attended.

As the arena lights dimmed, the anticipation was palpable. Czennies, armed with their glowing Neobongs, filled the venue with a sea of green, setting the stage for NCT Dream’s grand entrance. Mark, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung descended from an elevated platform, and the entire arena erupted in cheers. Pyrotechnics exploded, and a cascade of multi-hued lights illuminated the stage as they launched into “BOX,” the first of many high-energy tracks that would define the night.

The absence of Renjun, due to health reasons, was deeply felt, but the remaining members ensured that the energy never dipped, delivering a performance that was nothing short of spectacular.

NCT Dream wasted no time ramping up the energy. Accompanied by a team of backup dancers, they seamlessly transitioned through a series of intense tracks like “119,” “SOS,” and “GO.” The stage itself was a marvel—extended and elevated, with massive LED screens that provided a dynamic backdrop to each song. Flames shot up at key moments, and an awe-inspiring laser light show crisscrossed the arena, adding to the sensory overload.

The production value was top-tier, turning the SM Mall of Asia Arena into a dreamscape that transported fans to another world. The synchronization between the group’s powerful dance moves and the pyrotechnics created an atmosphere of pure exhilaration.

After a string of powerful performances, the mood shifted to a more intimate vibe with tracks like “Walk With You” and “Never Goodbye.” As these songs played, the LED screens displayed serene visuals, and the members took their time to move around the stage.

Mark, visibly moved by the crowd’s enthusiasm, said, “Your energy today is amazing. You guys are killing it.” The crowd responded with deafening cheers, a testament to the strong bond between the Dreamies and their fans.

The setlist was a rollercoaster of emotions, with the group performing fan favorites like “Hello Future,” “Broken Melodies,” “Better Than Gold,” and “Candy.” The latter, a remake of H.O.T.’s 1996 hit, was particularly special, as both groups were created by SM Entertainment. The crowd either danced with abandon or sang with heartfelt emotion, as these tracks hold a special place in their hearts.

The highlight of the night came during “Poison,” where the atmosphere transformed into a sultry, sensual haze. The members’ sinuous body waves sent the crowd into a frenzy, while “Drippin’” featured razor-sharp choreography that left fans in awe.

The visuals during the concert were nothing short of breathtaking. Lasers sliced through the air, images flashed across the screens, and the flames that erupted from the front of the stage added an element of danger and excitement. The concert felt like a journey through a dream, with each song bringing a new and unique visual experience.

One of the most memorable moments was during the performance of “Skateboard.” The stage transformed into an urban playground, with b-boying and daring stunts. Jaemin’s daring moves, including being flipped over by backup dancers, had the crowd on the edge of their seats.

As the night drew to a close, NCT Dream treated Czennies to an encore that was both emotional and joyful. “Dive Into You,” “ANL,” and “Like We Just Met” were performed with a mix of nostalgia and celebration. The final song was supposed to be a poignant farewell, but it turned into a comical moment when a storm of confetti engulfed the members on the B-stage, prompting laughter and playful antics from the group.

The night was also filled with touching moments, especially when Mark and Jaemin, both August celebrants, received heartfelt birthday wishes from the fans. Jeno and Jisung took time to express their gratitude, with Jisung promising to return as a full team of seven for “The Dream Show 4.”

Throughout the concert, the Czennies were as much a part of the show as the Dreamies themselves. Their synchronized light stick waves, enthusiastic cheers, and fan projects added a layer of warmth and community to the event. Banners with messages like “PH Czennies will patiently wait until we meet 7DREAM” and “Thank you for being the best memory of my youth” were highlighted on camera.

The night ended with a sense of fulfillment and joy, but also with the promise of more incredible moments in the future. NCT Dream has once again shown that they are more than just performers; they are a group that understands and cherishes the connection they have with their fans. And as the lights dimmed and the last notes of the concert faded away, one thing was clear: the Dreamies and Czennies had created memories that would last a lifetime.
