The world of To All the Boys is expanding as the spin-off XO, Kitty is set to arrive in May 2023. Focusing on Lara Jean’s little sister, Kitty, who moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend. Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.

Jenny Han (Creator / Co-Showrunner) tells Netflix’s Tudum, “We all fell so deeply in love with Lara Jean and her story. • Choi Min-yeong will play Dae – a 17-year-old Korean who will serve as Kitty’s long-distance boyfriend and is described as cute and smart. He’ll be a series regular.
• Mihee – a 17-year-old Korean female who identifies as queer. Described as a reigning queen bee from her previous boarding school and the ultimate cool girl.
• Sang Heon Lee plays Min Ho – Korean ex-pat who has spent time in the UK, Australia, and the US. Described as handsome and uber-confident.

With the release of the first look clip, we can confirm that XO, Kitty is coming to Netflix on May 18th, 2023. Kitty will have 10 episodes, each consisting of 30 minutes. Jennifer Arnold, Jeff Chan, Pamela Romanowsky and Katina Medina Mora are on board to direct episodes.
