UnionBank and GMG Productions Bring Come From Away to Filipino Audiences

UnionBank has partnered with GMG Productions to bring award-winning musicals to local audiences as part of its 2025 entertainment season. Kicking things off is Come From Away, the Tony Award-winning musical that has been staged in Broadway, the West End and now, Manila.

The Gala Night was held on June 6, 2025, at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater. As the first show of the season, Come From Away marks the start of entertainment perks available to UnionBank credit and debit cardholders. These include early access to ticket sales, exclusive discounts and live experiences available throughout the year.

Come From Away tells the true story of 7,000 stranded passengers after the events of 9/11 and the Canadian town that welcomed them. This production is a milestone in local theatre, with a full Filipino cast adding depth to a global story.

Come From Away runs until June 29, 2025, at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater. More shows are expected as part of the UnionBank and GMG Productions 2025 lineup.
