Concert Recap
Filipino PANDAs’ Wishlist Fulfilled as Apink Holds First-Ever Solo Concert in Manila
Filipino PANDAs’ younger selves are definitely happy as their long-time favorites, Apink, finally held their first-ever solo concert in the Philippines, the 2026 Apink 8th Concert <The Origin : Apink> in Manila, on May 10, 2026, at the UP Theater.
Apink, who debuted in 2011, had already visited and performed in the country twice before, but had never held a solo concert in the Philippines. Their first appearance was during the MTV Music Evolution Manila in 2016, followed by the Be You 3: The World Will Smile benefit concert in 2023.
Celebrating their longevity as they mark 15 years in the industry, the iconic group staged their 8th concert tour, which finally included Manila on its list of stops. Making it even more memorable, the Manila leg served as the final stop of the tour.
Apink’s Long-Awaited Solo Concert in Manila
Starting off strong with hit songs “I Don’t Know,” “BUBIBU,” and “My My,” Apink immediately set the tone for the night. Filipino PANDAs matched the group’s energy with loud cheers that continued throughout the concert.
Right after the opening performances, leader Park Chorong praised the crowd’s energy, saying, “I’m so touched, to the point I am getting goosebumps right now,” which drew even louder cheers from the audience. The group then introduced themselves individually, with each member receiving a warm welcome from the crowd.
“Since this is our very first concert in the Philippines, we were actually looking forward to it very much,” Chorong shared. She added that even without asking their Filipino fans, they could already feel their excitement. Seeing how hyped the crowd was, Apink went on to perform “NoNoNo” and “FIVE.”
Shifting to a more emotional atmosphere, Apink serenaded the crowd with “Overwrite” and “Wishlist.” During their performance of “Wishlist,” Filipino PANDAs surprised the group with pink pinwheels as part of their fan project, while the members threw signed balls into the crowd.
Dressed in black outfits, Apink performed a cover of Mirotic by TVXQ before moving into tracks such as “Fizzy Soda,” “Nothing,” and “Red Carpet.” The energy stayed consistent as they continued with fan favorites including “%% (Eung Eung),” “Dilemma,” “I’m So Sick,” “LUV,” “Mr. Chu,” “HUSH,” “Remember,” and their latest title track, “Love Me More.”

“This was our very first solo concert here, and your cheers from beginning to end were so loud, so I’m very thankful to you guys,” Bomi shared. She added that she wanted to remember the energy Filipino PANDAs gave them so that whenever hard times come, she could look back on this moment.
Chorong, on the other hand, said, “Your cheers were so loud that I couldn’t hear anything in my in-ears,” while also sharing that they hope to meet their Filipino fans more often. “It’s great that we’re doing our last show in the Philippines,” she added.
Eunji expressed how happy she was throughout the night, sharing, “I could say that this was great because the last show was with you guys.” She also acknowledged the mothers present at the concert, as the show coincided with Mother’s Day.
Maknae Hayoung thanked fans for all the gifts and projects they prepared for Apink, saying, “I’ll make sure not to take this for granted.” She also amused the crowd by saying Filipino words and phrases such as “joke lang,” “charot,” and “bongga.”
Lastly, Namjoo expressed her gratitude to fans, saying, “Your energy and passion made us so incredibly happy today.” She also patted the members on the head for working hard, adding, “Thank you for loving each other and staying together through everything.”
“Apink will continue on forever, so whenever you’re tired, struggling, or even feeling happy, please come find comfort in us anytime, dear fans,” Namjoo said before the group performed “The Wave.”

Moments later, Apink returned to the stage to perform “Hold My Hand.” After the performance, a fan-made video project prepared by Filipino PANDAs was shown to the group, which included fans singing “Moment.” “PANDAs [are] really good at singing,” Eunji praised. To make the night even more special, fans also prepared a 15th anniversary cake for Apink.
The show continued with Apink’s energetic performance of “Sunshine,” followed by “Sky High,” where the members went down from the stage to get closer to fans. When Apink returned to the stage, the atmosphere turned playful as the members stayed longer while the song’s instrumentals continued playing, clearly not wanting the night to end yet. The girls even kept running back to the stage, dancing and vibing with the crowd.

Although the concert eventually came to an end, the memories from the 2026 Apink 8th Concert in Manila will surely stay with both Apink and Filipino PANDAs for a long time.
The Apink seen during the concert felt no different from the Apink fans first came to know years ago. You could truly feel how much they love what they do — full of energy as always, all smiles, and giving their all on stage. Even after 15 years in the industry, their passion remains unchanged. With that, we wish Apink a happy 15th anniversary.
